Broken Kid / Self Love

An autobiographical song released as a hymn against CHILD ABUSE; but despite this; it is not focused on a dramatic mood; it was born in order to transform traumatic events in life into ART.- It is a catchy and joyful song beyond dealing with the life of a child who survived the attempted murder of his own mother.- Here art connects with my profession as a Psychotherapeutic Companion; job that I performed to help people with mental disorders as a way to repair and collaborate so that there will be no more cases like the one I suffered in my own flesh.-

Quantum Tripper

This is the last song I wrote for the album; I was thinking about creating something else, with another style, totally opposite and different but I heard an incredible theory about quantum trips and it seemed so dope that it was an instant inspiration.- Like other tracks on the album; it has arrangements with trumpets and a piano and string melody that I composed; maybe it's one of my favorites.- In this song I chose to sing with a combination of voices; one sleepy and one broken and weird; generating a contrast that I love.-

Saru Syndrome

Everyone knows about the figures of "the three Wise Monkeys" or "the Three Mystical Monkeys"; about this idea and also "the Ostrich Mode" - surely we all have experienced this feeling at some time in our lives - this song was born.- Also on this Track I created a melody with xylophone along with symphonic arrangements and a string quartet; as a bonus I added a drum set in tempo of Trap and the participation of a female voice to contrast with my voice.- The result is a mash-up of style that makes me love her instantly.- I hope you feel the same way.-

Haunted Undergound

Recorded with the real sounds of LONDON; This was the first song that I composed entirely from the score. - Changing the construction mode for other Tracks; It is my most British song.- I have visited this city so many times - in fact, it is my favorite city in the whole world - that I automatically feel like I am able to transport myself to the corridors of the UNDERGROUND.- On the other hand; beyond the Urban Sounds; I created a melody with a Musical Box + the sampling of my voice.- The Lyrics have the mystery and melancholy of concrete in big cities and lonely lives.- Some critics who had previews of the album consider it to be the best cut of TAGATI.-

Pop Life Boy / Memories

A multi-language track with a chorus that mixes German and English + games of Dope Phrases playing with vampires; the magic; proteins; the fitness world; and the genius of free thinkers.- All things that characterize me.- lol This track is a pure Dub Reggae; the second song that I composed; with a chorus that I sing every time I run; that's why I feel like it's so catchy and has a cadence that allows you to be into groove for training.- In the album each musical style is linked with other tracks; which makes it possible to move from one rhythm to another but with global coherence and harmony.-

Lamento Indie

This Track was born with the spirit of a dark choir that grows throughout the song and also with the screams of a mysterious singer, becoming the clousure of the album.- Sometimes I wonder if it would be better to save it for the LP, but I think it is so good that deserves to be a Single.- It has 4 different styles of my singing; generating divers registers and nuances but at the same time looping my voice to give a fade-out texture as a farewell.- YES it is an original creation; It is NOT a cover of "Lamento Indio" .-

PLAYLIST: Broken Kid

My way of SINGING

I am a new singer in a process of vocal rediscovery.- I am telling you this because during my years as an Actor I did thousands of vocalization exercises; These techniques made me sing in a higher tone - which I hate - so now with the creation of my album I was deactivating that way of singing to find a lower voice - something like a Sleepy Tone - I deliberately seek to create a raspier tone ; and cut the most crispy resonances; eliminate the hurtful.

My way of PRONOUNCING

I am a singer who wants to sound unique; I do not seek to imitate any style; but within the construction of the RODERIKO POP sound what I want is that when you listen to my music you know that it is me.- This also makes me choose to pronounce some words in an absurd way or invented by me.- Sometimes this is in search of a rhyme or to flow the melody that goes better with one consonant or another.-
As GARDEL did that he changed the N for R generating a mark in its pronunciation or as BJÖRK does inventing her own pronunciation of English; exaggerating the R and leaving an unmistakable stamp.- I'm not so egotistical as to level with them; but as an example; This is something I am looking to create.-
